Welcome to EventPlanners, developed and operated by WellSmart Automations. By downloading, installing, or using the EventPlanners mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
EventPlanners is a digital invitation creation and event management platform. The Service allows users to create and customize digital event invitations from a library of templates; manage guest lists, send invitations via WhatsApp, and track RSVPs; collect, organize, and share event photos and videos through galleries; plan events using tools such as seating charts, budget trackers, and countdown widgets; and use AI-powered features to generate invitation text.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA/UK) to use EventPlanners. You may create an account using Google Sign-In or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
EventPlanners offers a free tier with limited features and multiple paid tiers available on a per-event basis. All payments are processed through Google Play Billing as one-time consumable in-app purchases. Prices are clearly displayed in the app before you confirm any purchase. Each paid tier unlocks specific features and storage limits for a single event. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policies. We do not process payments directly and have no access to your payment card details.
You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload through EventPlanners, including photos, videos, text, and event data ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant EventPlanners a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process (including compression and format conversion), display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your authorized guests. This license terminates when you delete the content or your account. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and share any content you submit.
You agree not to use EventPlanners to: send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or use the WhatsApp sharing feature for purposes other than genuine event invitations; upload, store, or share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or infringes on intellectual property rights; impersonate any person or entity, or create fraudulent events; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to our systems; circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features or payment requirements; use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service; or violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
We reserve the right to investigate violations and may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
EventPlanners facilitates sharing invitations via WhatsApp by preparing message text and opening the WhatsApp application on your device. We do not access, read, or store your WhatsApp messages, contacts, or account data. You are solely responsible for your use of WhatsApp and must comply with WhatsApp's own Terms of Service. You must have the consent of recipients before sending them invitations.
When you add guests to an event, you are the data controller for their personal information (names and WhatsApp numbers). You are responsible for having appropriate legal basis or consent to collect and store their data. Guest data is stored securely and is accessible only to you as the event host (and to us as needed to provide the Service). You must not add guest information without their knowledge or for purposes unrelated to a genuine event invitation.
The AI Invitation Writer feature uses third-party AI services (OpenAI) to generate invitation text based on event details you provide. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or culturally sensitive. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated text before sending it to guests. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated content.
The EventPlanners name, logo, app design, built-in invitation templates, and all related trademarks, trade dress, and copyrights are the property of WellSmart Automations. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our templates, designs, or code without our prior written consent. The Service is licensed to you, not sold.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. For significant changes that affect paid features, we will provide reasonable notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventPlanners and WellSmart Automations are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to EventPlanners in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WellSmart Automations, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of any rights of another party.
You may delete your account at any time through the app's Account Settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. If your account is terminated for a Terms violation, you are not entitled to a refund for any unused paid features.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
